I made these hats for a charity. This is the first time I have made hats and I had so much fun I couldn't stop! I just kept going and going... just like the Energizer batteries!
I also learned a new stitch. The reverse single crochet! I have always been afraid of that stitch for some reason. I found myself fascinated with it and wanting to keep doing the stitch. I will definitely do more with the reverse single crochet.

They are so colourful! Lovely. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mel.
ReplyDeleteThey look great! Isn't it great learning a new skill?! I always enjoy that too!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Leslie. It is fun to learn a new skill, especially one that I have been avoiding because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to do it. I was pleasantly surprised!
ReplyDeleteI love making hats! They are my favorite quick and easy project. It's even better when you're doing it for a great cause!
ReplyDeleteI found it was easier for me to crochet these hats then it was to do them on the round loom.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors! They remind me of Coolspun Cotton colorways...what kind of yarn did you really use?
ReplyDeleteI used Peaches and Cream 100% cotton yarn. Close guess! I have a hard time not picking up more and more colors every time I go to the store, lol!
